Monterey Park Hospital is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with two

recent increase of COVID-19 cases in California, we have made temporary
changes to our visitation policy.

For patient safety and security all visitors will be asked to sign in at
all the hospital entrances and visitors must wear a visitor wrist band
and a mask at all times.

2:00pm to 4:00pm and
10:00pm to 6:00am
Quiet time, which takes place daily is encouraged to promote rest and healing
for your loved one. During Quiet Time, lights are dimmed, voices lowered
and visiting time still occurs but we ask that visitors speak quietly
in the patient's room, avoid noise in the hallway and limit cell phone use.
It is the policy of the hospital to provide a safe, healthful and comfortable
work environment for all employees, visitors, patients, physicians and
customers by prohibiting smoking in the Hospital building and grounds.
We believe that a smoke-free policy is consistent with our leadership
role in the health care field and contributes to employee wellness and
productivity. This policy is consistent with the requirements of Monterey
Park Municipal Code (MPMC) Chapter 6.20.
This policy applies to all Hospital employees, visitors, patients, physicians
and customers and is in effect 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.
Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the facility, including restrooms,
elevators, stairways, courtyards, plazas, lobbies, any atrium or patio,
corridors, hallways, seating areas, waiting rooms, reception areas, parking
structures, outdoor eating areas and outside of the building. Smoking
is also prohibited within 20 feet of any of these places. Violation of
this policy will be regarded as any other violation of Hospital policy
and may result in corrective action.
We offer free parking for our visitors and patients, all parking at Monterey
Park Hospital is free. The lot is located in the north side of the campus,
across the main entrance of the hospital. Please be sure to lock your
car. Monterey Park Hospital is not responsible for lost, stolen or damages items.
The hospital's cafeteria serves a variety of healthy, delicious meals
and snacks. Located on the hospital's Ground Level (Lower Level) the
cafeteria is open:
Monday—Friday: 11:00am - 1:30pm
Weekends (Saturday & Sunday): 12:00pm—1:00pm
Vending machines are available 24hrs a day. All visitors are welcome to
have complimentary coffee and water located inside the Cafeteria.
ATM machine is located on our Lower Level, by the Emergency Room entrance.
How Are We Doing?
The Patient Relations Department helps patients seek solutions to problems,
concerns and unmet needs. A patient representative will assist you whenever
possible. The patient representative can interpret the hospital's
philosophy, policies, procedures and services for you as well as your
family and visitors.
