Families, Friends, and Staff Come Together for Holiday Giving

This past holiday season staff at Monterey Park Hospital demonstrated their generosity and holiday spirit by giving back to local families and children in our community.

We began the season by donating canned goods to The West San Gabriel Valley Boys and Girls to provide food baskets to families in need during the Thanksgiving holiday. On November 19 th, The West San Gabriel Boys & Girls Club hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for over 400 guests. Families, friends, board members, and staff of Monterey Park Hospital helped serve a delicious Thanksgiving meal to local families.

We also participated in our annual "Adopt a Child/Family" program. This program has been done in partnership with The West San Gabriel Valley Boys and Girls Club for the past four years. Our staff purchased a variety of gifts for adopted families.

Every year we are pleased to continue the tradition of assisting children and families who a re less fortunate than us. We had an outpour of generosity from the staff this year. It is evident within our facility that these acts of kindness help strengthen our company's culture by bringing us together to give back to the community, overcome adversity and strengthen our community ties.
